After installing Searchanise, its collapsible filters are shown open on the storefront on desktop devices. If you have a long list of filters, it may be uncomfortable for shoppers to navigate.
You can display all your filters or part of them closed up by default.
Adjusting the desktop view as closed for all filters is unavailable for WooCommerce. It is possible to set the desktop view for particular filters only.
To display all filters closed up, follow these steps:
- Go to the Searchanise (Smart Search Bar & Filters) control panel > Filters > Filter list section > Settings tab.
- Set the Closed value in the Default desktop view setting.
- Apply the changes.
That’s it. Your filters are closed up by default on the storefront.
To display particular filters closed up, follow these steps:
- Go to the Searchanise (Smart Search Bar & Filters) control panel > Filters > Filter list section > General tab.
- Click the Manage filter (Manage custom filter) link next to the filter you’d like to display closed by default.
- Go to the Settings tab.
- Set the Closed value in the Desktop view setting.
- Apply the changes.
That’s it. The filter is now shown closed on the storefront by default.
